I have been taking photos for quite a few years, I started out with a Panasonic Lumix.  I upgraded to my first SLR, a Sony A350 in 2008.  I recently upgraded to the Sony SLT- A99V and I’m hoping that due to my recent retirement, I will get to spend a lot more time traveling, taking photos and being involved in all things photographic. I also use a Sony RX100 which is a great little camera that I can easily carry around with me all the time.

I live in Adelaide, South Australia and I enjoy traveling both in Australia and internationally.

    • Hi Mike, Like you said, good to see a couple of South Ozzies ‘blogging’ T’ve been doing it for a while, but have been a bit quiet recently. I have just retired from the SA Police Band after 33 years service, so I’m hoping to do a lot more photography and blogging in the future.

    Hi Lance,

I’m part of a small Edinburgh based community group. We are having a local political event in April for the 2015 UK elections and while looking for an image of the city I stumbled upon one of yours. If I credit you on the poster would you be happy for me to use the image?

Our group is based on promoting participation and supports no specific political view. More info here: https://edinburghactivecitizens.wordpress.com.

If you could email me back at garydewar2@hotmail.com that would be really helpful.
